Hint:
Not every browser is supported by the CollegeBoard website. Please use Google Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer. Do not use your phone.
  1.  Login to CollegeBoard.
  2. You should decline the prompt to "Connect with Colleges and Scholarships", select "not now" and then "don't show me this again."
  3.  Click on Register for the SAT and on Register now. You may then have to re-enter your password to verify yourself and select Register for the SAT again.
  4. After that the "Enter your Information page" appears.
  5.  Check again your personal data, which should already be entered from when you created your account. Make sure your date of birth is correct, you cannot change it after this!.
  6.  If your school information does not yet say My high school is not listed - international, click on Find my school.
  7.  Then select Outside the United States and enter only your country in the field below.
  8.  Click on Search for high school. You probably won't find your school in the list.
  9.  Select Can't find your high school? below and My high school is not listed.
  10.  Fill in the information on Your Expected Graduation Date when you will graduate from high school. This will be when you finish your A-Levels/L3 BTEC.
  11.  On Current Grade Level, select which class you are currently in.
  12. If you have already graduated from high school, enter only the month for Your Expected Graduation Date and Current Grade Level - No longer in high school and click Confirm for each
The result should then look like this, for example:

Click Continue and edit the next page. Questions with a red star require an answer, but you can select I do not wish to respond. Questions with no red * you can skip. Click Continue again.
On the next page you select:
  1. Student Search Service - no thanks.
  2. Advanced Placement - No, I do not plan on applying for AP credit.
On the next few pages you will be asked many different questions about your schooling and plans, you do not need to fill these out. Just click Continue until you get to the High School Activities page. You can fill in these or chose at the bottom e.g.  I did not participate or None of the above. This is not important for your test or your test score.

When you select Get started on the next page, you still need to accept the Terms and Conditions, scroll down the text in the window and click I agree to the SAT Terms and Conditions.

On the following page, select Outside the US and click next and then select the desired test date by clicking on it. Then click next again, select your country and search for your desired test center on the offered pages via Find a Test Center, which you click on again.

After confirming the selected date and location in the overview, you must select a profile photo. Be sure to choose a photo that is easily recognizable, as it will be compared with the photo in your ID card at the test date.

With Load a photo you can upload your photo and refine it with the offered tools. Confirm the 3 requirements with Submit.

On the following page you will be asked on which device you would like to take the test. You must bring your own computer to the test center! The following options are available:

Warning
Important:
If you want to take the test on an iPad, it must have an external keyboard, otherwise the test questions will be hidden by the virtual keyboard.

Now we come to the last part of the registration. Do NOT choose the Answer Service and do not order a book, the delivery costs are too high. Look at all the data again on the following page and click Confirm on the next two pages.

Now you need to choose the payment method and you can pay the test fee.

We now recommend you arrange to have your test scores sent to the NAIA, even if you don't know what school you will attend, as you get four free test sends.
Select "choose where to send your score" and enter 9876 in the grey box for the NAIA. If you know what school you will be attending, you should also search for that now and add it here. Sending scores at a later date will incur a small fee of around $14.
Info
After you have paid the registration fee, all subsequent changes, such as the test date or the test center, are subject to a fee. Therefore, check all details carefully. Cancellation or rescheduling of the test is subject to a charge.
Warning
Please let us know your test date after booking.
