Take advantage of this opportunity
To study and play sports at a college/university in the U.S. is a unique opportunity. It is the
only country where you can combine sport with your post-secondary studies and be able
to finance it with the help of your sporting talents. You represent the heritage, values, and
history of the university. Studying and sporting activities are organized so that the
practices and competitions are always arranged according to the school's academic
schedule. You never need to worry about whether your clash of studies and your sport is
going to be problematic. To be a student-athlete is something special that you'll look
forward to being a part of! Give it your all!
It takes some time to settle down in your new surroundings and get used to your new
everyday life. You will get to know many new people and you will find a new routine as a
student-athlete. Make sure to give it an appropriate amount of time when you arrive to settle, the first few days/weeks will of course be nerve wracking!
