A phrase that you as a student-athlete will often hear in college, both from your coach
and your academic advisor, is time management. This concept suggests that you should
learn the importance and significance of using your time in the best possible way and to
balance your workouts with your studies. As a student-athlete, you have higher demands
on you than just being a student, and you will have a much more demanding schedule.
During your season you will travel a lot and usually have only one day off a week.
Therefore, you must plan your time to be successful, both athletically and academically.
